If you knowingly trigger someone’s sensory processing sensitivities / misophonia / etc. that’s fucking violent and hurts more than if you slapped me in the face. doing this is a common form of bullying abuse toward neurodivergent people and is enacted by peers, family, “professionals”, strangers, and more.

people without SPD/autism/miso/etc. please not only share this but take an ACTIVE role in eliminating it when you see one of us being tormented this way.
